Moonglow is the story of Maxine and Joe, two elderly patients in an Alzheimer’s facility. Feisty, bitter Maxine never wanted to move into a nursing facility. But when she meets Joe, a widower who shares her love for dance, her zest for life is renewed. The two clash when lucid, but when their hazy memories begin to overlap, they begin an affair that is hilarious and heartwarming as it unfolds. This funny and touching play about love, life, and family will have you crying tears of laughter as it pulls on your heartstrings.
COVID-19 limited our ability to bring you intimate live theatre. Due to the limited restrictions we are unable to perform Moonglow as intended to keep our patrons and actors safe. Because of these challenges we have obtained special licensing with Playscripts for our actors to record their performance on Zoom.
You can support the Dolphin playhouse by purchasing an $8.00 ticket by clicking [here]. We will personally email to you the video link and a password.
When the restrictions are lifted and our playhouse is again allowed to do live performances safely, we will be performing Moonglow on the Dolphin stage. (Possibly May 2021). At that time you will receive one complimentary ticket to the stage performance.
Thank you for your continued support.
